Why mental skills training?

As an athlete, I experienced many of the challenges that can affect optimal performance: getting nervous, injuries, self-confidence, and concentration amongst others. When the athlete trains the mental component, she or he consistently uses empirically-based tools to achieve a state of competitive flow. I learned to use mental skills to effectively concentrate before competitions, maintain positive self-talk, become more resilient, and, above all, enjoy a better performance!

INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM

  • The design of the training program is based on the goals and needs of the athlete. This program provides a menu of empirically-based tools to help the athlete achieve optimal performance.

  • The individual training requires a signed consent form.

  • Payment plans are available. 

group PROGRAM

  • Increase team cohesion, effective communication and leadership skills! 
  • The A.C.M.E.* workshop is designed to introduce the athlete to the systematic practice of the mental game. The workshop focuses on psychoeducation and practical tips regarding: Self-confidence, Concentration, Motivation, and Work ethic.
  • Groups of 6 people or more. Duration: 5 weeks.
  • Payment plans are available.
