My name is Silvia Maria Lugo Merced, MA and I am a mental skills coach. My works focuses on the mental component of sports because as an athlete, it served to optimize my athletic performance and enjoyment.
I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in sport psychology. I was awarded an athletic scholarship to play soccer at IMG Academy, Bradenton, FL (high school). I was awarded an athletic scholarship to play soccer at Barry University in Miami, FL (NCAA II). I am a former member of the Puerto Rican National soccer team for 11 years with competitive experiences that included: pre-Olympic tournaments, Centro American & Caribbean Games, World cup Qualifiers, international friendlies.
